Group Art Fou (GAF) is in 2008 opgericht door Luk Sponselee (Skanky Ho, Holy Joes, MTVS). Samen met Marc Sponselee (MTVS, 35007) vormt hij de basis van GAF. GAF gaat uit van een basis synthesizer (drones) en speelgoed instrumenten, die do Mad group art? Indeed. With about ten people on stage and a sound that ranges from psychedelic guitar freak-outs, through barely audible ambientscapes, via free improv, to full-on all-systems-go ADHD-onslaught, GAF comes on like all-star band beamed straight over from Planet Chaos. A bit like a tour through a solar system far, far away without ever leaving your chair. Comes with a 40-page booklet containing art prints and photos from such Lowlands luminaries as Dennis Typhus, Vaast Colson and Koen Delaere.
